Extra Long High Quality Oak Jo with either 2.5cm or 2.7cm diameter suitable for Aikido and Koryu practices. Total length 135cm.

Shiro Kashi - Top class white oak Japanese weapons. These weapons have a straight, fine, consistent grain throughout their length and offer the perfect balance between strength and flexibility.

*Please note - Our standard wooden weapons bags are not long enough to accommodate this XL weapon.  The only models which will carry this item internally are the SB-1-B and SB-2-XL.

Very good Quality item
This JO is very good quality, is quite thick to hold and slightly longer than a normal one, so is very good for the 'larger' students. Has a very good weight and is ready to use after a light rub down with sandpaper

One tough Jo
When I teach my students the Jo, the weapon of choice has to be tough. the great thing about white oak is the wood grain is very tight and this allows to not only take a strike but deliver one also. my students train on a budget, given we are in a low income area... buy this jo with confidence knowing it will last your journey.!
