Bought this alongside the Leather Kansai-style Chigawa - great quality Himo, keeps it's color nicely regardless if the Aizome dye bleeds out like crazy. I've had this for a while and although I tie my men using the Kansai-style, it hasn't frayed much. I do go a little bit crazy with the tugging when I tie my men, so it's safe to say that, this himo is very good. I've only trimmed excess loose thread-weaves once, and in general, it looks/feels good. If you're after a good high-quality himo at 8-shaku, look no further.
