Featuring the classic Higo Kashira shape, the blackened Shinto Higo Koshirae fittings, are intricately inscribed with an archetypal Japanese arabesque pattern. This auspicious Karakusa pattern is associated with longevity and prosperity, with the depiction of an unbroken vine growing in every direction without limit.
The flowing Karakusa pattern can also be found on the elegant Kojiri, the Saya end pommel which beautifully finishes the Saya finish of your choice.
Part of the standard/heavy weight Minosaka range, the Shinto Higo Koshirae features upgraded silk Ito and Sageo as part of its standard specification. Silk is favoured for both its looks and performance and elevates the Shinto Higo Koshirae to an upper tier of quality even before any of the extensive customisation options are factored in.
