Looking for a lightweight Kendo Gi but prefer traditional fabrics and styles?  If so the KG-5 Miyabi Natsu Zashi Gi is the perfect option.

 

Crafted from a specially woven cotton fabric which combines a unique open weave structure with a traditional Sashiko Ori (rice grain stitch) texture. 

 

The natural cotton fibre is both soft and comfortable, looks almost indistinguishable from a classic Aizome Kendogi and encourages fast cooling, essential in the hotter summer months and providing a more comfortable option for practitioners who "run hot" all year around.

 

Easy to care for with colour fast non-indigo dying, this Gi can be machine washed on cool or hand wash settings.

Overall a lovely sturdy gi. As a 6ft guy though, I would recommend a 190cm as I've discovered kendogi are slightly smaller fitting than iaidogi and the 180cm wasn't long enough to cover my legs.

Quality kit
Could not believe how fast the top came and with embroidery as well. I trained in it last night, every body said how smart it was and it felt just like having a t shirt on, very light. The quality I was shocked at for the price so well done will order a white one thanks .Brian.

Non Indigo Dyed Summer Gi
This is a fantastic product, superlight & comfy soft material with a really nice hem on the sleeves, this should save me a lot of sweat & discomfort -so happy I got this! Thanks Nine Circles!

Light Gi
Got this at the beginning of summer and it proved it self quite nicely during the heat .. at half the weight from the other set i have: http://www.ninecircles.co.uk/Clothing/Kendo_Gi/Kendogi__Hakama_Set_-_Navy_Blue.aspx .. it is much easier and it breaths quite nicely so definitively wort owning for practice in hot weather. Easy to wash as well as its chem dyed so no color leakage.
